We provide a home, education, and hope for children in Zambia, many of whom were rescued from abuse, trafficking, or abandoned in waste pits and dumps.
To create a sustainable, self-sufficient home on "The Farm" that empowers children with valuable life skills, guiding them toward independent, faith-based futures.
We are motivated by the fundamental belief that it is a responsibility of the Church to care for orphans and widows. We are rooted in the compassionate conviction that we must not "close our hearts" when seeing others in need.
God planted a seed in the hearts of Marshall and Judy Hodges during a revival meeting in a Virginia warehouse. That seed grew into the One Way Mission Children’s Home. Established in 2002 through the sacrifice of a family inheritance and the prayers of a church in Virginia, this mission has grown to be a home for 45 children.
We believe every child is a miracle, and we are dedicated to providing the safety, education, and love they deserve.
Distance doesn’t limit the power of a helping hand. Our newsletters offer a window into the daily lives of One Way Mission, showing you exactly how your support provides essentials like clean water, school supplies, and a safe place to call home.
The work at One Way Mission is only possible through the hands and hearts of people like you. As we look toward the future, these are our most urgent needs:
Staff Support. We are currently seeking partners to help us provide these essential workers with a fair, dignified local wage for their tireless service.
Daily Essentials. From school supplies and new clothing to consistent daily meals and clean water storage, your gifts provide the basic necessities that allow our children to simply be children.
Whether it’s $25 to support a caregiver for a week or a larger gift toward a transport van, your donation goes directly to the care of our 44 children.
