We provide for the physical, educational, and spiritual needs of 43 children, ranging in age from one week to 21 years. Many of these beautiful children have been rescued from the streets, having been victims of trafficking, abuse, or have been found abandoned in dumps or pits.
We believe these children should have a home. These children should have an education.
The One Way Mission Children’s Home began in 2002, when an old bottling and grocery store was renovated to provide a safe place for children who had no home. From the very start, the conditions there were rather primitive.
As the number of children has nearly doubled, the needs have grown substantially. The orphanage building is in disrepair, and the original structure is under immense strain. We face critical daily challenges.
The ultimate vision is to eventually move the orphanage to The Farm. This move would allow the orphanage to become more self-sufficient.
Our current plan is to collect enough donations to supplement the orphanage’s budget, while renovating the original building to liveable standards. Once we achieve these goals, we will start the process of planning and building on The Farm.
